Convoluted universe, Book 4 - Dolores Cannon

Dolores Cannon is a well-known hypnotist who faithfully transcribed her sessions with her clients. The Convoluted Universe series is… out there, no question. I found Book 4 to be the best and most useful book of the series. I do recommend reading with discernment.

This book is one of the most wu wu books I will reference on this site. It’s not that the book is wrong, I found it very comforting and informative, it’s that the information is brought through human consciousness (often people who were already drinking the Kool-aid) which makes it potentially biased, and also that it’s from lower levels of consciousness, the archetypal and past-lives levels, so it’s not necessarily addressing awakening very usefully beyond reincarnation and expanded consciousness states.

At another level of consciousness, everything is true (aliens, reincarnation, gods, fairies, you name it) because nothing is. This is the atman/brahman principle. So it’s fine to have expanded experiences and beliefs, but bad to get too specific about them or attached to other lives than the one you are living.

A good book, good work, reassuring, but not the end goal of an awakening. Just a very comforting stopping-point on the journey. As a caution, I’ve seen a few people read this kind of material and fall-asleep in the poppy fields on the way to Oz so be sure to keep going. If you want to, read Trungpa Chogyam or Krishnamurti after this book to give yourself a good bracing wake-up call.

I will say I really like the messages of unconditional and divine love in the book. They come through loud and clear from the people’s guides, and that part is really worth reading the book for.
